"Maktab zaman dulu-dulu..."Alhamdulillah, i managed to find a house near the maktab. Hopefully, i would be happy staying there with my fellow housemates. May Allah protect us whenever we go. This is my first time staying off the campus and of course i 'm a little bit worried about the living condition. Many things i have to settle down before the semester starts. Sometimes i feel like going back to uia because to me living there was more comfortable and safer. Malacca is a nice town but the scenery like Mini Jakarta has made me feel like not going. When I did my foundation course, I had to take buses near Plaza Hang Tuah, the place that I dislike most. Could not describe how was the bus station. It was a horrible and scary place sometimes..Huhu. Luckily, there is Malacca Central now which is bigger and safer.. But still, we can find the Mini Jakarta at some corners. Huh.. But, it's ok. Insyaallah, life would be good there. Pray for me, friends.

Finally, after 5 years studying at both maktab and IIUM, i am finally in my final year. Time is running so fast and I couldn't wait to finish my studies and starts serving. Alhamdulillah, Allah has taught me many things throughout my life as a teacher-trainnee and university student, and thanks to Him for giving me the strengths to continue my mission to be an English teacher. This is not only for my family. I chose this career because I love languages and I think, I can contribute something for the ummah by being an educator and a language teacher. Besides, i am so familiar with the world of teachers as both my parents are teachers too. In school, I would give my full attention in languages classes--whether Arabic, Malay or English. For me, learning the language is fun. Some day, I want my students to be happy attending my language classes too. =) Insyaallah, if there is a will, there is a way =)
Wanna share this lyrics with all of you. A song by Weslife. There are some advices that we can take. We (Cohort2 ) sang this song during the English Night (first year Foundation Course). Haha..A funny moment to remember.. It was a last minute decision to sing this song.. However, we did well because we used to do last minute job and performance for the maktab. Haha.
